Traded Heart
One by one, the puzzle piece fits into each other.
One after another, I have come to understand it all
The *nice* act they’ve been pulling
The *friendly* look they’ve been giving
The *kind* words they’ve been saying
The *sweet* promises they’ve been making
Till the traded heart gets broken
Not one soul cares
No more nice, friendly, kind, sweet being
Somehow, it all makes perfect sense now.
It wasn’t real. They’re not even real.
Slowly I begin to realize
One of the puzzle piece is out of place
I took and sew it on the broken traded heart
Perfect.
